Curling up a Storm

In case you missed it and for those who consider that curling is what women do with rollers, the news is that Scotland have become World Champions of Curling for only the 3rd time since the 16th century. The game originated in the land of the haggis as bored Scots took to throwing volcanic rocks on ice rather than at each other. Rules are arcane, but it is a little like bowls on ice. We don't have too much of it here in Adelaide, but if you are interested, there are many opportunities in some of the colder parts of the world.
